Ruby Loft Escape Walkthrough:
Pick up the ruby on the step to the left
Look at the dinner table.
Pick up the ruby on the table.
Pick up the newspaper on the table.
Look at the grandfather clock.
Pick up the ruby on the bottom of the clock.

Return to the living room.
Look at the chessboard on the coffee table.
Pick up the ruby.
Move the rook (the castle piece) on the chess board to the corner closest to you. The white king will fall over.
Pick up the chess king.

Look at the sofa chair on the left.
Lift up the pillow to find another ruby.
Look at the small table between the sofa chairs.
Pick up the ruby in the ashtray.
Pick up the lit cigar in the other ashtray.

Ruby Loft Escape Walkthrough:
Look at the fireplace.
Pick up the ruby next to the vase on the right.
Pick up the left candle on the fireplace mantle.
Place the newspaper underneath the fire logs.
Use the lit cigar to start a fire. The wood will burn away.
Take the monkey wrench.

Ruby Loft Escape Walkthrough:
Look closer at the mantle.
Take the ruby next to the clock.
Notice that the clock cover is dirty and stuck shut.

Now look at the bookshelf upstairs in the loft.
Take the center lamp lightbulb.
Find the piano key guidebook on the left center shelf.
Retrieve the ruby from the pages.
Pay close attention to the guide. This will come in handy later.
Find the book on the upper right shelf and take the ruby from its pages.
Collect another ruby from a book on the lower left shelf.
Look at the wooden rings structure on the center right shelf.
Take note of the number of rings on each peg and the order.
Take the ruby from the book on the right.

Return to the living room.
Look at the counter bar.
Notice that one of the lamps is missing a bulb.
Use the lightbulb on the lamp. They will light up in different colors. Remember these colors.
Take the ruby lying on the bar.
Take note of the order of the different shapes on the back of the bar chairs.

Look at the refrigerator and microwave.
Take the ruby beneath the mircrowave, next to the coffee maker.
Look at the letter magnets on the refrigerator. They are G-C-E-B-A. These are piano key notes. Remember this for later.

Look at the stove in the kitchen.
Pick up the blue spice bottle to the left.
Take a knife hanging from the right.
Tap on the dials on the stove to make the blue tiles light up red. Make sure the number of tiles lit up matches the number of wooden rings on the pegs. The tiles will open up.
Take the screwdriver and the salt shaker.

Ruby Loft Escape Walkthrough:
Look at the small table between the sofa chairs.
Look at the small box.
Change the shapes to correspond to the shapes on the bar chairs. (an X, a triangle, a diamond, a circle.)
Take a cigar from the box.

Look at the clock on the fireplace mantle.
Use the screwdriver to pry the cover on the clock loose.
The clock has stopped at 10:10.

Ruby Loft Escape Walkthrough:
Look at the shelf of pots and vases next to the door. Look at the chest in the center.
Pick up the ruby next to the chest.
Change the colors on the chest to correspond to the color of the lamps above the counter bar. (R-G-B-Y)
Take the ring and the knob from the chest.

Go to the piano. Take the ruby from the sheet music stand, and a second ruby lying in the pot of the plant to the right. Inspect the piano keys closer.
Take the ruby from atop the keys.
According to the piano key guide, tap out the sequence G-C-E-B-A. Take the rose.

Look at the grandfather clock next to the dining table. Inspect the face of the clock closely.
Use the knob to open the casing.
Move the hands so the clock reads 10:10.
The grandfather clock is now unlocked.
Take the pendulum from the clock.

Look at the fireplace.
Use the knife on the leafy plant on the left to get a leaf.

Look at the double doors.
Look at the small container attached to the wall next to the doors.
Take the ruby from on top of the hinge to the right.
Open up the container.
Put in all of the items depicted above the container: Spice Bottle, Candle, Cigar, Chess King, Leaf, Pendulum, Ring, Rose, Salt Shaker, Monkey Wrench.
The door is now open.
